Dopo aver lanciato per la prima volta l'universalmente acclamato Rhapsody Tour con 23 grandiosi spettacoli in tutto il Nord America nel 2019, i Queen + Adam Lambert stanno riportando la loro acclamata produzione, ora ampliata e aggiornata, nel luogo in cui la serie ha avuto inizio. Dopo una pausa di 4 anni, Sir Brian May, Roger Taylor e il frontman Adam Lambert hanno annunciato che il prossimo autunno partiranno per la loro quarta tournée in Nord America.
Prodotto da Live Nation, il tour prenderà il via il 4 ottobre alla CFG Bank Arena di Baltimora e farà tappa a Toronto, Detroit, New York, Boston, Filadelfia, Austin, Atlanta, Nashville, St. Paul, Chicago, Dallas, Denver e San Francisco, prima di concludersi al BMO Stadium di Los Angeles.
I Queen e Adam Lambert si esibiranno anche sul Germania Insurance Super Stage durante il weekend del Gran Premio degli Stati Uniti di Formula 1. Sabato sera, 21 ottobre, oltre 80.000 persone assisteranno a un'epica performance dal vivo dopo la prima gara sprint al Circuito delle Americhe.

La scaletta di 150 minuti dei Queen+ Adam Lambert celebra lo straordinario catalogo della band, mettendo in fila inni immortali come We Will Rock You, Don't Stop Me Now, Radio Ga Ga e Somebody To Love insieme ai classici meno noti e ai preferiti dei fan. Caratterizzata da una scenografia all'avanguardia ricca di effetti speciali e mutevoli scenografie, lo spettacolo ha lasciato a bocca aperta critici e fan di tutto il mondo.
Con l'aggiunta e l'enfatizzazione di alcuni brani, compresi i dettagli della mastodontica scenografia multimediale realistica, il format rende di fatto omaggio all'album The Works che arriverà nel 2024 al 40° anniversario dalla sua pubblicazione.
Come per le date dello scorso anno nel Regno Unito e in Europa, il tour nordamericano del 2023 vedrà i Queen+ Adam Lambert sul palco insieme ai membri abituali della band: il tastierista e direttore musicale Spike Edney, il bassista Neil Fairclough e il percussionista Tyler Warren.
Dopo un lungo tour negli ultimi anni, lo spettacolo "Rhapsody" è in continua evoluzione. Ma rimane sempre un tributo alla maestosa eredità di Freddie Mercury, una conferma dell'immutata abilità musicale di Brian e Roger, oltre che una magnifica vetrina per le capacità vocali di Adam e il suo carisma sul palcoscenico, il tutto per una gloriosa celebrazione a tutto tondo di uno dei più grandi nomi della storia del rock.
