Roger Taylor ha preso parte questa mattina (sabato 15 novembre 2014) alle registrazioni della nuova versione del singolo benefico Do They Know It's Christmas? presso i Sarm Studios di Notting Hill.
La guida dell'operazione è stata presa ancora una volta da Bob Geldof, sollecitato ad intervenire dall'ONU.
Uscita originariamente nel 1984 ad opera della Band Aid e già ri-pubblicata nel 1989 e nel 2004, la canzone supporta nel suo 30° anniversario la prevenzione e lotta alla diffusione del virus Ebola.

I Queen non vennero coinvolti nella prima realizzazione a causa della "censura" artistica seguita alle esibizioni in Sudafrica. Presero poi parte trionfalmente l'anno successivo al Live Aid '85.
