They are the British band currently supporting Queen+ Adam Lambert's European Tour 2016

Just few days ahead of  Queen+ Adam Lambert gig at the Anfiteatro Camerini in Piazzola sul Brenta, we had the opportunity to interview this British band. They are currently in charge of open seven shows of QAL Summer Festival Tour 2016.

Let's find together who are them and what they bring to Italian audience.

Hello guys! Thanks for allowing us to introduce you here on Comunità Queeniana Italiana.

Why your band is called “Electric Pyramid”?

We found the name in a very Old Top Hat whilst drinking French Red Wine.

So, now please tell us your individual name and instrument played…

Ol, vocals/guitar
Linda, guitar
Marco, drums
Emma, bass

I can hear Italian names, isn’t it? How did you meet? Did you ever play together before?

Marco & Linda are originally from Italy, overall the band is a mix of European and British blood. We all met in London, playing music in sweaty venues until the early hours, the rest is history.

What are your major influences? What inspired you to create music together?

We all love a good rock riff, sweet melodies and a good sing along, that is how the band pretty much started - singing together with an acoustic guitar having a good time. I guess our main influences are Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, but we a modern twist to it like Alabama Shakes and of course Queen.

That's right, Queen! You are supporting Queen+ Adam Lambert in this Summer Festival Tour 2016. How did you meet them or simply how did you become their support act? It’s quite unusual for Queen+...

I guess we know them through life and misfits. They saw us playing last Autumn supporting Queen Extravaganza and here we are.
It is Amazing and also slightly terrifying to be opening for one of the biggest band of all time.

Which songs do you perform most frequently live? Do you play any covers?

We love performing all of our songs our latest single 1989 seems to be going down quite well.
We play a various range of covers, all classic rock based, Fisherman Blues - Waterboys,  Bruce Springsteen - Dancing In The Dark, Fleetwood Mac - The Chain.

Is there a writer within the band? Who writes your songs?

We are all writers, normally someone comes up with an idea, usually in random places at random hours, and we all develop it together.

When will you release a full album?

We are looking at an early 2017 album release and in the meantime drop few singles here and there to keep our people eager to hear more.

Here's our latest track - River
.

How can we keep in touch with you?

Thank you very much guys for this precious interview.
Now, when will you perform in Italy (June 25th apart of course)?

Whenever you TAKE US back. *wink*. Hopefully fall/winter european tour.

Finger crossed then! See you soon.
